Oh and happy new year as this is my first post in 2019!!
  • I set a goal to read 25 books this year and I present to you my 31st and final book for 2018 : @riskandreturnafrica
In between the stress, traffic and events this period I still had to make out time to read this book and its been time well spent.
As an Entrepreneur with a technical background I could relate closely to the author of this book @ajemibew . .
.
My main take outs from the book were: - How partnerships should work
- The importance of making plans, setting long term goals and putting them out there. - All that glitters isnt gold. - Hiring the right staff
- MENTORSHIP
- Your fathers connections can only take you so far. .
.
I took note of something profound which is the Stool principle. In summary it says that a key to success is to look at your career as a stool and figure out what 3 legs are essential for your stool to be sturdy. When you figure this out.. make sure that every job or role you take helps to strengthen an existing leg or helps build a leg you don't already have.
.
.
All in all, This is an amazing book which I dont is for everyone.. The concepts and lessons will fly over your head if you try to force it. I think this is a book for serious minded people who though might be regular schmegular, but are willing to put in the work to fufil their purpose in business. .

  • I am super excited about the line up of programs in my church @thebrooksnig this month!!! Tomorrow is the shop for free program, where you can come get new and used clothes, shoes, bags, food and medical checkup for a super low price or for free.
I think this event will meet so many needs this period and i am grateful to be part of it. .
Theres also a party for children on Sunday morning, A christmas carol on sunday evening, A service on christmas day and ofcourse .. The "Watch Night" Service, ringing us into the new year. .
These programs are taking place at Number 15 Adelabu street, Surulere Lagos.
I am inviting you to be part of these programs and if you will be unable to be part of these, pls tell someone that might be able to.
